How to Run This Drill

  1. Line players up with gloves on
  2. Roll gentle ground balls to each player
  3. Have them get their body in front of the ball
  4. Catch with two hands (alligator hands method)
  5. Pick up and throw back to coach
  6. Keep it simple and positive

Coaching Points

  • Body in front of the ball, arms extended out in front of eyes
  • Use two hands - alligator catches
  • Get low to the ground
  • Eyes on the ball
