Meet The Founder and CEO of Dugout Edge
Former Stanford Cardinal, professional baseball player, current co-ed softball player and team manager with 10 years of coaching experience across all levels of the game.
From youth baseball to co-ed softball to men's adult league baseball, I've seen firsthand how time-consuming lineup creation and other admin work can be for coaches. That's why I built Dugout Edge - to give coaches back their time so they can focus on what matters most: developing players and winning games.
Beyond just saving time, I'm passionate about sharing the correct wisdom and resources that help coaches become better teachers and their players become true students of the game. Whether it's through our lineup tools, practice planners, or educational content, my goal is to pass on the knowledge that helped me succeed at Stanford and in professional baseball to the next generation of coaches and players.

The Problem
After 10+ years of coaching, I was spending hours every week creating fair lineups that gave every player equal playing time. The manual process was time-consuming and often led to mistakes or unfair distributions.
The Solution
I built Dugout Edge to automate the lineup creation process while ensuring fairness and equal playing time. The system considers position preferences, rest requirements, and batting order optimization to create balanced lineups in minutes, not hours.
