Throwing Drill: Knock It Off (Baseball & Softball)

How to Run This Drill
- Line up your team behind a bucket of balls. Set up a tee 20 feet away and place a soccer ball or volleyball on top.
- The first player in line grabs the ball and throws it trying to knock the ball off the tee.
- They get two points for knocking the ball clean off and one point for hitting the tee.
- Whoever has the most points after five rounds wins.
Coaching Points
- Take a step while throwing
- Step and throw to knock the ball off
- In actual game they will be more accurate if they stride toward their target
- Competition is healthy but maintain proper form
