How to Run This Drill

  1. Set up batting tee at proper height for each player (belly button level)
  2. Put all players in stance with feet shoulder-width apart
  3. Hands together on bat
  4. On coaches command, all players swing making contact with tee or ball
  5. Swing level through the ball
  6. Follow through and watch the ball fly

Coaching Points

  • Start with no ball - getting players accustomed to just swing and aiming for the tee
  • Once a ball is used, emphasize keeping your eye on it and swinging through the baseball
