My son, Josh, has been passionate about baseball since he was four years old. Baseball is not just a hobby for him but one of his biggest joys of life. He has been going to Cagerats since he was in early middle school when he desired to play at a more competitive level. He is currently a junior and plays for his HS and Cagerats travel team in the summer and fall. He is hoping to get recruited at the highest college level he can and is fully confident Cagerats will help him get there. My son is one of the most baseball motivated kids I have seen and will often be at Cagerats 5-6 days per week by his choice and plays/trains year round. The Farm is his happy place. There are many positive aspects of the Cagerat baseball program that are very unique in the baseball community. Cagerat coaches have an immense passion for the game and dedication to developing all players for the future. Unlike other team coaches that may only worry about wins/loses and in game perfection, Cagerat coaches truly care about the long term development of their players. They do not simply teach kids to get immediate results, but they teach the mechanics and true fundamentals to each player. Because their program is so diverse and includes agility, many repetitions, and weight lifting with an athletic trainer, players fully develop their bodies to play the sport they love and reduce the risk of injury. There are many experts in the building to help develop the whole player. Coaches often are overheard telling their players that results do not happen overnight and they must put in the work. There is an absolute respect given to all players and my son knows he can depend on his Cagerat coaches during the ups and downs of the game. Cagerat coaches are all mentors to my son and I consistently appreciate the life lessons that my son learns from them, especially for his future. In addition to the caring coaches, the atmosphere among players has always been positive. Negative attitudes are not tolerated among players and I have heard many families that feel the Cagerat atmosphere is a breath of fresh air for their players. Players build each other up and support one another in trainings and on teams. Coach Tad, Chad, Ty and all of Cagerat Baseball will always have a special place in my heart because The Farm has become my son's second home over the years. I would overwhelmingly recommend Cagerat Baseball, at The Farm, to anyone with a child who loves the game and is ready to develop their skills to compete at their highest potential.

My son has been practicing for a couple of months with CageRats, and he is completely hooked. He calls Coach Duke and Coach Billy his best friends, and I know he sincerely means it. As a parent, there is nothing better than seeing your kids have fun and excel at an activity that they love. We are very grateful to have found CageRats and look forward to many years to come.

This place don't even deserve 1 star. My two kids tried out back in Aug 2024 for 8u and 13u cagerat teams after their all star season ended because they still wanted to play baseball. Was told we would be playing a fall season. Needless to say that fall season never started, it got pushed back to spring/summer 2025 season. My 13yr old had plans for summer camps for his high school. My 8yr old was bumped to 9u so the association can allow the coaches kids to play then made others play up including a kid that just turned 7. My family paid $1200.00 for 8u team, and $1800.00 for 13u team. My sons 13u team still has no direction, last I heard we were going to play in one tournament instead of multiple, which again is another cost of 200+. Again coaches having kids on the team playing for free batting first, playing in field, and pitching. Its not about skill at all, which is the main reason my family went to a travel baseball team because of the tryouts and "thinking" kids selected would be for skill and not for the purpose of forcing a team. After paying for our 8yr old to be on the team we still had to come out of pocket another 500+ for tournaments and training at the facility which is mandatory when on a team which is $125.00 per kid. Again, due to them "forcing" a team of kids we have lost our 1 and only scrimmage before tournaments, and won 1 game and lost 2 so far. This place is great for using the facility and taking your kid to practice yourself with them, but as far as baseball team.....find another place, was told fall season WILL start in September 2024, didn't happen. It's no different than a sales man selling you a sales pitch only to wrap you in with a contract and not deliver on what they promised or more importantly their word. Your better off playing park n rec, or for the YMCA. Hope to help another family out before they lose almost 6k to this place. God bless!!

Very happy with our CageRat Baseball experience. They espouse team practice as opposed to individual instruction. I was initially concerned that this might not be the higher-quality instruction I was looking for for my son, but I was wrong. My player receives enough feedback to adjust his game but is not inundated with detail. He gets a lot of repetitions and is always psyched to go to CageRat practice to learn from the coaches and play ball with other players who share his passion. He knows his coaches, and they know him. We are only on the minimum plan but are treated with respect by all the staff. The coaches are serious about what they do but are very approachable. I see us being Cage Rat customers for a while and hope to expand our utilization.
