Hitting Drill: Wiffle Ball Circle (Baseball & Softball)
A great fun drill that keeps a bunch of kids engaged. A great game for before practice or during off hours for hitters.
How to Run This Drill
- Have players stand in a circle around 1 coach in the middle.
- Designate 2-3 spots per as hitting stations.
- Coach alternates throwing to designated hitters. 5 pitches each. Hitters hit and the rest of the players are fielders.
- Once 5 pitches are thrown to each hitter, all players rotate 1 position clock-wise. There will be 1 hitter rotating off and fielding, and 1 hitter who was fielding will now be hitting.
- Use points to keep players engaged. Each ball caught in the air is 1 point.
Coaching Points
