How to Run This Drill

  1. Begin with light jogging to transition from rest to activity.
  2. Progress through dynamic stretching hitting all major muscle groups: legs, hips, core, shoulders.
  3. Include sport-specific movements: lateral shuffles, backpedals, sprint mechanics.
  4. Move to throwing progression with partners, starting at short distance.
  5. Gradually increase throwing distance while maintaining proper mechanics.
  6. Add position-specific movements: infielders take ground balls, outfielders take fly balls, catchers block.
  7. Finish with mental preparation and team focus. Players should feel loose, confident, and ready to compete.
