Fielding Drill: Belly Up (Baseball & Softball)
Fun fielding drill where players start lying on their backs and must quickly get up to field ground balls. Develops reaction time, agility, and fielding fundamentals in an engaging format.
Instructions
Players lie flat on their backs (belly up) in fielding position. Coach calls "up" and rolls or hits ground balls. Players must quickly get to their feet and field the ball cleanly. Focus on proper fielding position once they get up.
