Hitting Drill: 90/45/Even Progression Tee (Baseball & Softball)
Progressive tee drill that helps hitters stop pulling off the ball by gradually working from extreme open stance to normal stance.

How to Run This Drill
- Hitter progresses through three stages using a tee
- Tee set up in front of the middle of the plate
- Stage 1: Hitter stands open at a 90 degree angle to the tee. The focus is on keeping the front shoulder closed, not flying open and loading properly.
- Stage 2: Hitter stands at a 45 degree angle
- Stage 3: Hitter progress to standard batting stance
- This drill is great for hitters that need help loading into their back hip or that fly open with their front shoulder
- Hitter should perform 5 reps at each stage before moving to the next stage
Coaching Points
