  Tim is a wonderful coach and obviously brings in a wealth of experience to help young kids develop their skills and mechanics as baseball players. We really like that Tim has a very practical, patient, and clear way of communicating that simplifies both hitting and pitching mechanics for my 11 year old son to work on. My son would get a lot of noise and advice and over the past two years and changed his stance and pitching approach many times. Also, like Tim, my son is also a lefty and aspires to be pitcher like him one day!

  Tim Tisch Baseball Academy has been incredible for our son’s development over the past year. Tim is extremely knowledgeable, passionate about the sport, and has a true gift for teaching. He’s helped our son refine his pitching mechanics and hitting techniques, and the results have been amazing—we’ve had so many compliments on his progress. Tim pushes him to work hard, explains the “why” behind what he teaches, and balances being tough with giving well-earned praise. He’s been a huge asset to our son’s baseball journey, and we couldn’t be happier with the training!

  Tim has worked with my older son, who is currently 14 years old, during a few periods over the past six years. My son has worked with several pitching coaches throughout San Diego at various stages of his development. I’m a firm believer in getting instruction from multiple coaches and taking the best input from each. I recently brought my son back to work with Tim. He had developed both physically and mentally during the past couple of years working with other coaches. However, it was clear his mechanics needed refinement in order to maximize his potential and more importantly to make sure he wasn’t overstraining his arm. Tim has clearly communicated to my son that the sessions will not be easy, but if he puts in the effort, he will see the improvements. My son has been happy with the results thus far and I am confident Tim will help him maximize his potential.

  My daughter has been working with Tim for almost a year, he was highly recommended by her softball coach, whose daughter also works with Tim. I can’t say enough about him, he is passionate about the sport and only wants to see these kids succeed, both with perfecting their mechanics and also the mental aspect of the game. He is such a good communicator, which is something that is not easy to do when you’re working with all age groups and both baseball and softball players. His approach is personalized to each player and their needs. My daughter works with Tim on her fielding, hitting, and mental approach to the game. I have seen her make incredible progress and continues to. Tim is a fantastic coach, you will not be disappointed!
