  5 STARS!!! We were visiting my hometown of San Diego for the holidays and took advantage of the opportunity to get my 8-year-old son a hitting lesson, as there are limited baseball instruction options where we are stationed in Italy. Coach Steve was a fantastic instructor. He took time to evaluate my son’s swing and immediately began working through a variety of drills to reinforce good habits and correct his mechanics. Although we paid for a 60-minute session, Coach Steve asked if I was comfortable with him continuing past the hour so he could leave my son in a place he felt confident about. I agreed, and he worked with my son for an additional 30 minutes at no extra cost. His instruction was clear, concise, and spot-on. My son made immediate adjustments and showed noticeable improvement over the hour and a half we were there. Coach Steve also recorded key portions of the lesson and later emailed us a link so we could review the instruction and drills in the future. As a parent, I learned several drills myself that I can now take home with us to Italy and continue reinforcing what my son learned. Understanding how difficult it can be to find consistent baseball opportunities where we live, Coach Steve also provided a list of resources he was familiar with that may be helpful while we are in Europe. I cannot recommend Coach Steve highly enough and will absolutely return my sons to his instruction at the first opportunity.

  My son loves coming to him for his batting and pitching lessons. Coach Steve is very attentive to detail on what little change can be made to drive an importance on the why something works. My son words are "I really love it how he can show me something with detail, and the exercise that really helps" this has been out 6th session over a period of time and we both notice how much he has improved.

  Stephen is great! Patient, takes time to explain all the details and offers advice to help. Prices are great; don’t waste your time going to wallmart or other stores; Stephen matches prices with way better service!

  Steve at the School of Baseball has been an absolute game-changer for our son! He started baseball later than most, but thanks to Steve’s incredible coaching, he now excels as both a hitter and a pitcher. Steve’s ability to break down the physical aspects of the game while also strengthening the mental side has been invaluable. Beyond just improving mechanics, Steve knows exactly how to guide players through slumps, helping them stay confident and focused. We’ve been seeing him for years, and the progress our son has made is truly amazing. We can’t recommend Steve enough—he’s a fantastic coach and mentor!
