Lock players to their positions

Pin players to specific positions to lock them in place when shuffling. Want specific players pitching and catching in a particular inning? No problem.

Some assignments are non-negotiable. Maybe your ace pitches the first inning. Maybe your daughter always plays second.

How it works

  1. Hover (or tap) any cell in the lineup table to reveal a small lock icon in its top-right corner.
  2. Tap the icon to lock that player at that position. The cell tints navy and the icon turns solid.
  3. Tap Shuffle Positions — the engine re-shuffles every cell except the ones you locked. Locks survive across shuffles.
  4. To unlock, tap the navy lock icon again.
