  This organization runs the county track meet for school districts. All students have to register online before competing but that process is difficult and full of glitches. Om parent information you can't even change the month for birthday. I speak on behalf of many parents when I say the process is extremely frustrating and has not improved in the recent years.

  On or around, the second day that their swimming lessons were available I signed up my grandbaby. I called on either July 27 or July 28 to verify her lessons and I was told they started July 24th. I was sure they started on July 31st. I realize that I missed the day and on July 27th or 28th I asked for a refund. I have called several times to ask where my refund was going to be issued. I have left several messages on the supervisor's voicemail. I was told today that I am not receiving a refund. I had every intention of taking my grandbaby to swim lessons, but life happens we had a new grandbaby earlier that week. DON'T MISS YOUR SWIMMING LESSONS WITH NOR BECAUSE YOU WON'T GET A REFUND. AND BY THE WAY, THIS GRANDMA IS ON A FIXED INCOME. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO RATING I WOULD HAVE.

  Love this place. I've been involved at some level with Greenacres for 32 years. What they/NOR do for kids is to be applauded.

  Parents be warned if taking your child to a park in the NOR park district. Please check the play area and check swings. I had an problem with a swing coming apart at Emerald Park Cove on Patton and Hageman, dropping my Grand daughter to the ground hurting her hand very badly. Looks like someone detached the swing at the top hinge. She needed an x-ray and feel they need to pay for that service since she was hurt on their grounds and the parks need to do a better job of checking their equipment. I called to report this accident but had to leave a message at NOR because no one answered the phone and I never received a call back and I am very unhappy about their service. I hope they send out someone from their park district to check out their equipment for the safety of the children in this very popular park.
