How to Run This Drill

  1. Begin with light movement to raise body temperature: jogging, jumping jacks, or similar.
  2. Progress to dynamic stretches: torso rotations, hip circles, shoulder stretches.
  3. Perform wrist and forearm activation: wrist circles, squeezes, forearm stretches.
  4. Start with light dry swings focusing on mechanics and rhythm.
  5. Add a weighted bat or donut for 5-10 resistance swings to activate muscles.
  6. Progress to faster swings building toward game speed. Finish with relaxed full swings to find your timing.
