Warmup Drill: Arm Slot Drill (Softball)
Advanced throwing drill practicing four different arm slots: regular, backhand (12 o'clock), one o'clock across diamond, and three o'clock forehand.

How to Run This Drill
- Divide team in half for throwing partners
- Work four arm slots in sequence:
- 1 O'Clock Slot: Ball right at fielder
- 12 O'Clock Slot: Backhand - short throw coming over the top
- 1 O'Clock Low: Stay low, throw across diamond to 2B or 1B
- 3 O'Clock Slot: Aggressive forehand, don't come out of legs
- Second group can work footwork at second base simultaneously
Coaching Points
- Different situations require different arm slots
- Stay in your legs for low throws
- Middle infielders can work second base footwork at same time
