Infield Drill: Box Drill- Shortstop Double Play Feeds (Baseball & Softball)
Box drill teaching shortstop feeds for double plays. Opposite of second baseman version - face right, flip left. Stress stiff wrist and following the flip.

How to Run This Drill
- Create a box with four players standing 15-25 feet apart (closer for younger players). A fifth player stands behind one corner.
- Do NOT use gloves - bare hands increase concentration on the ball.
- Each player faces the corner to their RIGHT. The feed goes to the player on their LEFT.
- Tosser shuffles or crosses over, flips the ball to the player at the corner to their left, leaves hand high, and follows the flip.
- After arriving at the next corner, turn to face the corner to the right with hands out front ready to receive.
- Catch the ball, generate momentum toward the target, toss, and follow. Stress stiff wrist, no extra arm motion, leave hand high.
