Training with Coach Hughes Baseball has been one of the best things for my development as a player. As an outfielder at Spokane Falls Community College, I’ve learned that getting better isn’t just about taking more swings or doing more reps—it’s about having a plan, understanding what you’re working on, and being held to a higher standard every day. Coach Hughes does a great job of developing the whole player. He focuses on the details: swing direction, timing, approach, barrel control, and learning how to compete in real game situations. Every drill has a purpose, and everything we do is built around producing when it matters. What separates Coach Hughes is that he cares about more than just baseball. He pushes you to grow as a teammate, a competitor, and a person. He holds you accountable, challenges your mindset, and teaches you how to handle failure, make adjustments, and trust the work. The environment at Coach Hughes Baseball is competitive, honest, and built for players who truly want to get better. If you’re serious about your development and want to be pushed the right way, I highly recommend training here. — Max Workman Redshirt Freshman Outfielder, Spokane Falls Community College

Coach Hughes is an amazing coach. My son’s favorite practice of the week is going to work out with Hughes. Highly recommended if your kid wants to become a more confident successful hitter.

If communication & dependability is important to you and, your son/daughter/athlete, you will not find that here. My son & I take baseball & our work very serious and, when a coach is always rescheduling/canceling 10 mins before your paid appointment with, zero communication, posting on Instagram while ignorning basic communication/accountability skills, slowing up lessons from being on his phone during paid lessons it shows where their head space is at. Maybe slow down on the extracurricular activities you dont hide very well. I hope you figure out how do better, coach. Your craft is valuable, but the baggage that comes with it carries zero value.
