My 8 yr old son and I visited the Kent Valley Batting Cages for the first time today. We purchased 5 batting tokens which should have yielded 100 balls. As it turned out, I messed up and selected softball instead of baseball but the pitches weren’t clearing the yellow safety line and were unhitable. The second set of twenty pitches were fine. Before the next token, my son needed to use the restroom but the owner refused to allow us to use the facilities. We were going to leave but my son wanted to get some more hitting in. The next twenty pitches were fine; however, we started the next token and the machine had run out of balls. It was just rotating without pitching balls. Super frustrating. We just gave up. I returned the last token to the owner and told him it was more frustrating than fun. We won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Who refuses to let a kid use the bathroom? I’ve been to a lot of batting cages. This was the worst.

The staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The pricing was very reasonable. There are four batting cages offering varying speeds for baseball and softball. You can rent helmets and bats. You can buy tokens or pay for books of time from 30 minutes and up. Definitely recommend

Visited here over the weekend, Saturday, and had so much fun! We got our tokens, 20 pitches for 1 token. $20 for five tokens and you get the 6th token free! So 20$ for 120 pitches is the best deal I've found anywhere. I came all the way from North Seattle too so I did my research on pricing and available facility's. The staff are all SUPER friendly and every person had a smile. Not to mention a quick walk up the stairs from the batting cages and you've got a great selection of beers!

This place is ghetto as can be. Not all cages are available. Machines are not dialed in. If you have to use the restroom, forget about it. They are not available for those that play baseball. I would not recommend this place to someone I hate. Save your money and go anywhere else.
