This is in regards to the bays at the driving range. I’m left handed, and being left handed in golf already comes with enough challenges and annoyances. But every single bay in this place is set up for right handed golfers. The mats are indented into the concrete to the right side of the bays so that righty’s have room to swing. But if you’re left handed and want to swing anything over a 5 iron, you’ll risk smacking your club into a pillar with electrical boxes on them (which I have done) I refuse to risk hitting a $300+ driver into a concrete pillar. Maybe accommodate some space for left handed golfers. Facility is cool but I can’t go here unless the grass is available, which is whole other situation with how much damage is done to the grass because of high traffic. Burnt $11 today, won’t be back for a while

Scally's helped me fall in love with golf. I picked it up as a hobby this past year and Scally's has been a great place for me to work on my skills. Across the board, it's pretty affordable for the driving range, the 9-hole par 3 course, and the pitch & putt. (I haven't tried the mini-golf or batting cages). I signed up for their membership and have easily got my money's worth with weekly visits in the summer/fall. The par 3 course is usually kept up with pretty well. It forces you to use a variety of clubs, and has some unique holes to keep you on your toes. Just watch out, the whole course is built on a sloping hill - one sliced shot might send your ball racing all the way down to the woods. It's also a bit tight, so don't be surprised if other people's balls end up on your hole. It's first-come first-served which is nice if I just want to pop over and scratch my golfing itch. However, it can get busy on nice days, and as a single, I will often get stuck behind multiple groups who play at a slow pace, or kids/teens who are learning the game. Just have patience if you get here and it's busy, or head over to the driving range. I'll be coming here as long as I live in the area to hone my skills and enjoy a brief walk around a course. -- I'm a bit surprised at some of the negative reviews. Sure, it has a casual atmosphere, but there's a lot to like about Scally's if you don't come in expecting it to be a country club. It's a golf center that offers a nice variety of things to do at a great price. (Also, Scally's can't control the actions of other people!)

Big fan of the par 3/pitch and putt. Nice greens for the amount of traffic they get and good practice for the price of a bucket of range balls anywhere else

This course is very flat and easy to navigate. No water traps, and yet I still ended up hitting it into the stream... Lots of fun characters and small flower plots. N (5yo) really liked the horse, even though it was a challenging hole, and the waterfall that fed a stream through the course. If N could change anything, it would be the hill for the horse part. L (10yo) liked the alliteration for the name of each hole, and the waterfall and stream. L found a number of the holes to be repetitive, and would enjoy more elevation in the holes to challenge them. It was a good course for N because of how level it was. The characters were very colorful, and the entire course was very well kept. Lots of good lighting for evening play, though not much in the way of shade. I'm glad it was overcast, I bet that concrete really heats up when it's sunny!
