  The culture and environment at PVS are like no other. Watching athletes of all ages help, push, and cheer on each other to be better is awesome and it's been that way since I walked in the door 9 years ago. The coaches are amazing and truly care about your athlete. My oldest spent 5 years training here and was given the opportunity to play in college. Now, my youngest(9) trains here. I advise anyone that asks for recommendations for hitting or throwing to reach out to PVS. I trust them and know they will do what's best for my child while being honest with me. There's a reason athletes visit from all over the country to train, Best in The Burgh!

  I loved spending the weekend up in PA getting to learn more about throwing and how to correctly move your body. The energy and atmosphere at PVS is amazing and the people there are even better. If you’re trying to move your body correctly and grow to be better in softball or baseball I would go to PVS 100/100 times!!!

  PVS has been so much more than a baseball training facility for our family- it’s been a life changing place for our son. He is 14 now and has been training at PVS for nearly four years, and the difference it’s made in his confidence and personal growth is incredible. Coach Matt has built something truly special here. The culture at PVS is positive, inspiring, and full of genuine care. You can feel it the moment you walk in. Kids are pushed to work hard, believe in themselves, and understand they can accomplish anything with effort and dedication. It’s a place where they’re not just becoming better players- they are becoming better people.. We drive 45 minutes each way without hesitation because what our son gets from PVS is worth every mile. His passion for the game has grown, his skills have developed tremendously and his belief in himself has soared. We’re incredibly grateful for Coach Matt and the entire PVS family. If you want a place where your child will be supported, challenged, and truly cared for, PVS is the place to be.

  Matt, the owner of PVS, has been an incredible hitting and throwing coach for my daughter. He’s very down to earth, easy to talk to, and truly cares about player development. He does an excellent job explaining his concepts for hitting and getting to the ball — even if it’s not always pretty — and helps the athletes understand why they’re doing what they’re doing. Matt also goes above and beyond by communicating with college coaches and helping guide families through the recruiting process. He’s a positive influence on the players, keeps things fun, and has a great sense of humor, which makes every lesson enjoyable. We’re so grateful to have found him and highly recommend PVS to any athlete looking to grow and improve.
