Just finished a team practice with our 12u softball team at the new MVP south extension! What a facility!! 3 large cages, plenty of room to move, and top of the line amenities. Can’t wait to try out the Rapsodo, pitching machine, and hittrax in the future. Oh and the golf simulator! Highly recommend!

I’m not a big fan of how the basketball program is being run. We signed up with the understanding that it would be $400 per child (I have two), totaling $800 for both of my kids, with the agreement that they would play in four tournaments during the first half of the season and eight for the year. However, we only ended up playing in two tournaments during the first half, and then the basketball director requested the second payment—another $800. I explained that I wasn’t comfortable paying an additional $800 when we hadn’t even met the minimum number of games promised. Their response was that my kids couldn’t remain on the team unless the full amount was paid. They literally said they couldn’t be on the team if the second payment wasn’t made, despite attending every practice and putting in the work. This brings the total to $1,600, which just doesn’t make sense given the limited number of games we’ve actually played. Honestly, I feel like MVP is money-hungry. It seems like the focus is more on collecting money than on providing the experience we signed up for. If that’s how they handle basketball, how do they manage their other sports? I don’t want to play for a team or organization that prioritizes profit over allowing kids to enjoy themselves. I was 100% willing to pay the fee if we had received the minimum four games upfront, but not for only two. That’s $800 for two games—$400 per game!

Our son has been going to MVP for about two years for the after school program. He also does the summer camps and trainings. He never wants to miss a day at MVP. He even wanted his birthday party to be there. (Super cool party place) This is his second home! He loves the coaches. The staff is committed to these kids and take time to get to know them personally. They have a talented staff that brings experience and knowledge in the sports they coach. Safe, fun, athletic enhancement , competition, a place to belong…whatever your kid needs, it’s there! It’s not like any other after school program or training business…it’s a lifestyle for kids in the area. We are so grateful for the MVP family.

MVP is a wonderful organization. My son had a such a fun and positive experience at summer camp. As a parent, I loved that the coaches reinforced positive sportsmanship and hard work. I would recommend them to everyone!
