  UBA is the best! We’re getting hitting lessons there for our 9 year old, and couldn’t be happier with our coach! The facilities are top notch and we never seem to have a problem getting workouts in. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

  My son has played through UBA which, unfortunately is coming to an end due to the fact that my son has switched teams. Our experience has been largely favorable. The facilities at UBA are very good, especially the indoor quad and hit trax. The complaint I have about these is that it was very difficult to book time on these areas since there was so much demand. My son also played his games at the Yard. The fields are generally in good shape though there are a lot of major holes in the outfield which, if not careful, an outfielder running to catch a fly ball can step in and seriously break his ankle, leg or just take a big fall. Those wholes need to be filled in asap. The mounds, especially on fields 3 and 4 need to be replaced. They are so worn down that pitchers often slip with their stride. Getting into the parking lot by field 5 is like off roading. With the amount of money people pay to play there, you'd think that the entry could be paved so I don't have to worry about replacing an axle from the numerous potholes. In the hundred games I have been to (I do not exaggerate the number), never have the scoreboards been turned on and used. Again, with all the money we pay for use of UBA and its facilities, you'd think that the scoreboards would be used for games. Kids or parents can easily handle that responsibility. My son has had a good experience but we are leaving for another organization which has most of the same amenities but for nearly $1000 less expensive. I hope that someone will take the criticisms about the Yard to heart and make arrangements for some very overdue improvements.
