  On Deck was wonderful experience for our son and for our family. Everyone at On Deck worked to make our eight years there a truly family experience. The instruction was beyond baseball and focused on young men and their respect for the game of baseball. On Deck will always be a part of our family.

  What qualities did we want for our '23 son, Tyler, when searching for the right baseball academy? 1. Quality coaches with the expertise AND desire to teach, 2. An environment that fosters teamwork, 3. Genuinely care enough about the players to provide real-life lessons that put them on the path to be good young men, 4. Knowledgeable about the college recruiting process and willing to do what was necessary to help Tyler reach his goals. Well, On Deck Academy checked all those boxes for us. Even after On Deck, during Tyler's first semester in college, he felt his swing was a little off. Coach Kevin Hill never hesitated when Tyler asked if he would work with him over fall break for several days to tweak and get it back on track. Most recently, Tyler's team opened their pre-season in Charlotte. Coaches Kevin Hill and Lamar Briggs were there with their full support. We thank all the coaches and staff at On Deck for everything they did and continue to do during this critical period of Tyler's life.

  Most enduring quality of OnDeck is the family based atmosphere that keeps the kids engaged and feeling like they belong to something. This atmosphere and the outstanding coaches helped get our son to D1 baseball.
