  We were in town from Kansas City for my son's soccer tournament and I wanted to take advantage of our downtime by getting some hitting practice in before his first baseball game the following week. We decided to stop by The Yard close to our hotel. There was a team renting out the whole facility 25 minutes after we arrived, but the guy at the front desk, who I assume had some interest in thr business gave us a bucket of balls and showed us to a pitching machine and told to go ahead and get started and that we would settle up after, as to not waste any time for my sone to get his swings in. Afterwards, I went to pay and he told us it was on him. I thanked him and now I'm writing to say how much I appreciated it, but also to comment on how the facility was nice and the pitching machine and balls were in good shape not old and not working well like a lot of facilties I have been to. We'll stop by again the next time we're in town.

  We’ve been bringing our son here for several months (once or twice a week) and really enjoy The Yard. The facility is clean and the staff are extremely nice. He has also been working with the some of the trainers with hitting and catching. These guys are great and would encourage others who are interested in improving their game to consider doing this. They have different drills and identify really quick big and small areas that need work or positive areas to keep doing. As a parent and former coach I’ve seen my son improve in the batting cage and bullpen sessions and can’t wait to see how he does on the ball field.

  Absolutely love this place! The staff is always super accommodating. The guys run a great facility. It makes it so much easier to focus on your team when the facilty is organized and clean! Thanks fellas! Keep up the great work.

  After paying invoice in full and my kid decided he no longer wanted to play for the club. The owner would not refund my money and hired attorneys to come after me for the full contract amount again +800 additional dollars I don’t recommend playing for this club. The owner doesn’t care about the kids. He only cares about the Almighty dollar.
