Working with Alex and The Yard Wolfpack has been an incredible joy for our entire family and a great development opportunity for our son Jax. Alex sets a strong vision for character, skill, and leadership development for the players and one that he exemplifies in himself. This is more than just baseball. It's more than just trying to win tournaments. The value here is multi-faceted and personalized. There is no rubber-stamp approach. Further, the relationships with college coaches and guidance in how to engage with them makes this program highly valuable for those interested in playing at the next level. We recommend The Yard without hesitation to those who love the game of baseball, desire to play beyond high school, and who seek to grow in their character and maturity through the process.

My son has been playing for Alex and The Yard organization for past 2 years, he has also been a pitching coach for him since he was 12. My son has played with a few organizations and this is by far the best! Alex teaches core values on and off the field. He teaches the boys respect for the game and to become the best version of themselves on and off the field as well as in the classroom. When talking about colleges and decisions, he instills in the young men that education comes first. Alex puts in a lot of time to help these young men get in front of college coaches and be seen to be able to play at the next level. He creates a fun atmosphere for the boys at his new facility, allows open time to come in and throw a bullpen, hit, lift weights or just come in to chat. The experience that Alex has created with this organization is truly one of a kind. My son and our family will be forever grateful for the experience this organization has given us and relationships and friendships that will last a lifetime.

This past year, our high school junior made the decision to switch club programs and join The Yard Baseball Academy, and we only wish we had done it a year or two sooner. Coach Alex Robinson and his staff have been outstanding. Beyond refining our son’s technical skills—especially on the mound—they instilled a real sense of confidence, pride, and balance that has carried over both on and off the field. The development is intentional, the coaching is thoughtful, and the expectations are high in the best possible way. What truly sets The Yard apart is Coach Alex’s commitment to each player’s journey to the next level. He personally worked with our family to help identify the right college fit, offering guidance, honesty, and advocacy throughout the process. This is a great program with a strong culture—one that produces competitive athletes and, more importantly, strong young men. We couldn’t recommend The Yard Baseball Academy more highly.

Alex was incredibly helpful in the process of finding the best college fit for our son. We are so grateful for his guidance and knowledge, patience and availability, and answering so many of our questions to help us wrap our head around this uncharted territory for us. He helped to improve our son‘s skill and did whatever he could to promote our son and market him to the college coaches. He spend time providing us good council helped us through the process in finding the best fit. Alex has created a supportive and fun community of like-minded, driven young athletes and their families. I will forever be thankful we found this hard working and dedicated coach and mentor.
