At 1/2 time the score was 24/25 w our team up. I’m convinced that game was to close to be referred w one ref but that was the situation at 1/2 time w a game as close as it was a ref was allowed to go home this leaving one inexperienced ref covering the floor of a 7u game she spent more time arguing with the stands instead of actually referring I don’t see how a ref can be scheduled off mid game

Mojo Up Sports Complex, located in a pleasant neighborhood, boasts a new facility with ample parking, providing a promising start to any sports event. However, my recent experience attending an Adidas-sponsored kids' basketball tournament at this complex was marred by several significant issues. Firstly, while the facility itself was impressive and seemed well-maintained, the quality of refereeing left much to be desired. Throughout the tournament, we encountered referees who were not only unapproachable but also demonstrated a lack of professionalism and basic communication skills. This deficiency in referee conduct significantly detracted from the overall experience. One particularly distressing incident occurred during our first game when the referee, instead of calmly addressing the situation, resorted to yelling at the players about the game not starting until someone took charge. When approached for clarification, the referee's response was vague and unhelpful, indicating a lack of clarity in their instructions. Moreover, we were taken aback by the unexpected requirement for parents or spectators to keep score and manage the game clock. As visitors from Canada, we were unaware of this obligation and voiced our confusion to the referee. However, instead of offering assistance or understanding, the referee reacted with hostility, shouting derogatory remarks about our nationality. This unprofessional behavior is wholly unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of Mojo Up Sports Complex. Overall, while Mojo Up Sports Complex offers a promising venue for sports events with its new facilities and convenient location, the disappointing conduct of the referees, coupled with the lack of clarity regarding spectator responsibilities, significantly detracted from the enjoyment of the Adidas-sponsored basketball tournament. Improved referee training and clearer communication regarding event expectations are essential to enhance the overall experience for participants and spectators alike.

Have been to this facility the last two years for wild wild West wrestling. Staff is usually friendly, there's a snack bar. Of you're going to be there all day pack snacks we've had a few instances where they run out of food.

This place is huge, containing everything sports! This is in a really nice area of town. Note: The water fountain is located near the men's restroom closest to the basketball courts.
