Unfortunately the other google reviews are accurate. Unless things change on Marks part this organization will not last. It’s a money grab in every aspect. You pay your fees plus new players have to buy a helmet and bag to match the team. Mark would not take accountability for a mistake made during the first fitting and requested I pay more money. He stores his boat in the facility during winter when the facility is busy. Charges kids a dollar for water on the honor system but cameras are watching. The facility is ok but for the fees associated with this organization I guess I would expect better. My player got a great amount of reps but development lacked. Trust your gut and do your research. It’s a lot of money to spend on a mediocre organization.

Sounds like a trend going on here! Poor leader. Complaints were shared with Mark and all he could do was use his power! I even spoke highly to him about his organization a but I was incorrect, especially reading the other negative reviews on here. 11u baseball experience was not good. Many kids not returning due to poor coaching. Mark said his organization was about development and that's what I believed, wrong. Mark didn't even want to look into the complaints because the season was over. Coming from a man who works in leadership, you should always investigate and listen to your customers complaints and request feedback from those that haven't spoke up. Apparently, voicing your opinion about Mark's coaching Staff is forbidden or there will be consequences. Do your research before you put your kid through this program if you are truly looking for development and want to stay away from daddy baseball.

I looked forward to my son playing for the Sluggers. They were supposed to be focused on player development in a positive way which as a parent is what we all want for our developing player/players. Instead our coach put our players down, made them feel like they were doing wrong even when they were doing well. When this was addressed to Mark from several parents nothing changed. Most parents didn't even receive a response and this behavior continued. It was addressed again and again and nothing was done about it. There are many other organizations we played against that were awesome with their players and that tells me that there are better choices out there where team play is valued. I wish this were different because I looked forward to my son growing within the Sluggers ball club.

If I could leave a negative star I would! My daughter played in the 14u softball and it was absolute worst experience ever! The coaches verbally and mentally abused her all season( alot I didn’t know til after this season ended) they don’t care about anything but the checks u write and it’s alot for no development and awful coaches who not only belittle ur child but scream and cuss at the parents! The owner mark doesn’t care and doesn’t back up his teams when things are going wrong all he cares about is all the money he will get! Please save ur daughter from even a tiny bit of what my daughter went thru and go to a different travel team!!!!
