  The facility is fine, but pricy at 100$ for an hour in a full cage. When you need to clean up all the balls this amounts to 100$ for maybe 40 minutes of hitting. The staff there were fine but standoffish which was really awkward. The pitching machine was not plugged in and balls were on the ground when I arrived, halfway through the session the pitching machine broke and I had to go troubleshoot it. Cutting down on more expensive hitting time. Finally the clientele was laughably stereotypical, one guy who sounds like he peaked in 3rd grade was talking about how he was going to get kicked out for starting a fight because someone had the audacity to allow a ball they hit go against a net and bump into him. The egos here are huge and fragile, if you aren't into that I would avoid it. Typically people only leave reviews for very positive or very negative. Sometimes as in this case the review is median just because there is a unique experience to share. Now I wouldn't get into the stats too much I would instead focus your energy on improving your facilities and your attitude towards criticism. I can only imagine how your employees feel about that.

  Really good baseball training facility, facility is top notch! All trainers have impressive experience, they offer hitting, fielding, catching and fielding lessons. I take my son for private lessons and he loves it, I’ve seen the huge improvement! You can schedule a lesson online a get membership, highly recommend it!

  This is where future Rockstars are allowed to grow and improve. Nothing but a super group of people here led by a heartfelt owner. My wife and I absolute know we have made the best choice with MMB and it shows, time and time again with my sons constant improvement in the game.

  Been going to Mike Murphy's for a few years now but first time at the new facility in Shadelands. Well also the first time we tried the online scheduling here with my 10 year old daughter and 11 year old son and wow what a surprise! The softball pitching coach canceled the appointment and only offered Mondays which we couldn't do and so no big deal right? All I did is say not a good start. What I heard in return was just plain arrogance and hostility from Mike. All because I stated the fact that it wasn't a good start? Wow! Their response was, "We tend to cater to our polite and understanding customers first". Seriously super sensitive! I told him sorry for the misunderstanding repeatedly when we showed up for the hitting lesson and all he wanted to do was accost me! Embarrassing to say the least! Anyway the place was small, cold and not very well laid out or planned for a brand new facility. With so many options these days we will look elsewhere. Thanks but no thanks!
