I had an excellent experience at this batting cage facility in Oakland. Nick was absolutely great from the moment we arrived. He took the time to explain everything in detail, helped set up the pitching machine speeds correctly, and made sure my daughter felt comfortable and ready to practice. You can tell he genuinely cares about providing a great experience for baseball and softball players of all skill levels. The batting cages themselves were very clean, well maintained, and professionally set up. The pitching machines were accurate and consistent, which made batting practice productive and enjoyable. Whether you’re training for youth baseball, high school baseball, softball, or just looking to improve your swing, this is one of the best batting cage facilities in Oakland and the East Bay. Nick was patient, knowledgeable, and gave useful tips that actually helped improve hitting mechanics and timing. It’s rare to find someone so involved and passionate about helping players get better. The facility has a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back for regular batting practice sessions. The Oakland location is also very convenient with easy access from Alameda, Berkeley, San Leandro, and surrounding Bay Area cities. Pricing great, equipment quality was excellent, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. I played D1 softball and was looking for a batting cage where I could just get in the zone and hit for a bit. This spot blew my expectations out of the park. Nick, the owner, is fantastic and walked me through the different machines and how to get them going (shared some great restaurant recommendations… added bonus!) and even fed some pitches to me. There are two machines that are self feed and one that’s bring a friend, with a softball machine coming soon. He let me know it’s self serve and I can schedule online and come in. Online scheduling looks straightforward and easy. The set up is really professional. You can tell Nick cares and put a lot of effort into the space. This is exactly what I was looking for. For anyone that’s wondering, parking was really easy. Super excited to come back, check out HitTrax, and bring some friends.
