I never knew this place existed until I came here for the grand opening of DNA Cards. I can imagine how busy this place could get, because an indoor sports venue seems perfect for Arizona’s 120-degree summer! One complaint is the smell of sweat and mildew, with a mix of smelly feet. It was manageable, but definitely not pleasant.

If you want a quality cage to do live work there is no better place. Good lighting and large tunnels provide a great space to get quality work done. The staff is super helpful and can provide quality instruction as well.

Overall it is just another batting cage nothing special but has several disappointing qualities, one of them being customer service. I approached the desk after our session ended asking them why they did not offer us the rate for 20 balls at 3.00 per round and was met with blank stares. I asked if they offer rates or just let the customer aimlessly ask and just got one word back yes. So a bit disappointed. This was my first time purchasing services with this batting cage. I was meeting a friend so we could share a cage. Before he arrived I asked the front desk how much it is to use a cage. They asked if I had a reservation and I said I did not know, I am meeting someone here and gave them my friends name. The front desk figured out I did not have a reservation and said they have an open cage regardless. I asked them how much it cost and was pointed at the rates. I said we would be there about an hour and needed a pitching machine...they proceeded to price me for 55.00/hr but did not ask if I was using baseball or softball and did not offer any other rates which I later found out were cheaper for what we (my friend and I) needed. So that was disappointing. Because they did not ask us if we were doing softball or baseball and assumed baseball they had to force a Personal Coach/Trainer off cage 5 we were assigned so that we could do softball which was discouraging to watch. The cage itself is good but the netting is very narrow, I do not consider myself a large man, but my back swing hit the net every time limiting my swing which causd me to be unable to hit properly. I was told my back swing almost hit a young lady in the other cage multiple times whom was doing soft toss training. Multiple foul balls (which are not hit hard) went into other cages to the left and right of us. The pitching was inaccurate for slow pitch and we preferred not to have them adjust it because it would eat into our hour of time in that cage.
