  I've been a member since I've been in my twenties and thirties now I'm almost 60 years old they did away with the jacuzzi and that's kind of sad because the jacuzzi was a good place to relax after doing swimming laps everything has changed but not for the better it was a lot better when I went but now it's not good at all not enough equipment to do cardio or do weights in one of the stair climbers is broken the weight room is extremely small and there's limited variety of weights I never had to rate this to a two but that's what I'm getting this place

  I used to swim here all the time, but now I try to use other SLC pools, because this one is poorly managed. The main issue is that it is impossible to access the schedule for lap lanes. They have a detailed schedule that displays (sometimes) on a screen by the front desk and at the pool, but it is not posted on the website. Last Friday morning, they displayed the schedule for the previous Wednesday and Thursday (totally useless) and for that day (also totally useless if you are trying to plan ahead). And it is not uncommon for a swim team to show up when they are not on the schedule and take up a large portion of the pool. I will say that they are doing great lately on adequate staffing, so they don't have to close lanes due to a lifeguard shortage. That's no minor accomplishment when they open at 5 AM.

  I signed up for the Learn to Skate program here, and then found out I was pregnant when it was basically time to start. Josh was super helpful and understanding and helped me cancel the lessons. Hopefully I'll be back in the future, and also with a +1 someday!

  Excellent public rec center. Outdoor 50m pool, 25m indoor pool. Two ice rinks. Huge cardio area. Good weight room, yoga and fitness classes. Close to home.
