  Here at Lackland AFB was where we picked up and dropped of my brother the two days of his graduation before he was shipped off.

  We got kicked off because it got double booked with us and an MTI kickball tournament. The field next to us was grassed and would have been much better for them but we were asked to go to a field that was half flooded... We needed to just make our own field down by Stillman Park... Much better than a swimming pool.

  Legal parking to pick up your airmen , other parking is available by the shops and museums but this is the most convenient to the barracks, get here early there is not a lot of parking . Day 1 of graduation I advise arriving at gate at least an hour early . There are places to sit and stand once inside but the gate can back up along way especially on the first day ( Thursday )

  So there really isn't anything to say about the softball field, it was not occupied by any kind of sporting event at any of the times we were there. It's just a big open ball field right next to where the trainees are all sleeping. By their dorms / barracks. That's why it's special to me.
