Always opening their gates for Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. That says allot to me. I appreciate the Hens and what they do for Toledo and her Esprit de Corp overall. Can still afford tickets and the atmosphere is respectful bout the good times.

Just 10 mins inside the Ohio border from Michigan, this park is a must for Metro Detroiters. Park opened up at 530 for a 640 game. So plenty of time to walk around and munch on all the things this park cooked up for us today. Marcos cheese pizza, Texas Roadhouse peanuts, chicken & fries, ice cream in a souvenir helmet, and let’s not forget Mountain Dew in souvenir cups & refreshing cocktails. Gift Shop had some nice swag, love the Mudhen logo & was so glad I got to cross this off my bucket list. A great experience for sure, would definitely recommend a trip & I’m sure I’ll be back again someday, maybe when a Tiger gets sent down to the Minors.

On Thursday, June 12, 2025, I took several family members to see the Mud Hens play Omaha. We were in town to honor my late father and I wanted to attend a game because he had taken me to the original stadium on Key Street when I was a boy. I have to say this is one of the best values in all of Toledo. For about twenty dollars per person you can spend a few hours watching baseball and soaking in the great stadium atmosphere the Mud Hens have created. When there is no action on the field the club offers plenty of entertainment between innings. My personal favorites were the Freeze Cam and the Grass Snow Angel contest. The on-field host was charismatic and kept every little game lively. Food, drink and team merchandise were reasonably priced and we found nearby parking even though we arrived in the third inning. Although we would have preferred a Mud Hens win we still had a fantastic time and will do it again next time we are in town. The Mud Hens are a first-class example of what a Triple-A baseball club should be. Well done.
