José Ramírez Field is the newly rebuilt baseball field located in Clark Field, nestled in Cleveland’s historic Tremont neighborhood at the intersection of West 11th Street and Clark Avenue. Here’s a detailed look: • A grassroots efforts–style project led by Cleveland Guardians Charities in partnership with José Ramírez, this synthetic-turf baseball venue is part of the Fields for the Future initiative aimed at revitalizing youth sports facilities . • Built near Tremont’s Clark/Fulton edge, the venue addresses chronic rain-outs by offering a consistently playable turf surface The project includes a full-field synthetic turf installation over engineered drainage and base layers, supplemented with new fencing (with wind screens), netted backstop, covered dugouts, bullpens, and an LED scoreboard . • Spectator provisions include aluminum grandstands seating around 200 people . • Within the outfield, you’ll see the iconic “Guardians” logo and the initials “JR” behind the pitcher’s mound, with “José Ramírez” featured prominently on the scoreboard—a proud nod to the man behind the field .

Tbh this field is nice but in a way that disgraces the rest of the park. This field is only available to the schools and specialty teams. The nearby field for the rest of us lowly plebes doesn't even have bases. All of the money was dumped into Ramirez field and it looks like the haves treat themselves very well. The have not by the baseless field and dog park is devoid of the old trees that once stood there and now is only inhabited by dead trees planted by an overpaid landscaping contractor.

City dumped 70% of the budget for the park into a private asset. Nice 👌

It is quite nice to see a future hall of famer Jose Ramírez having his own field.
