I was on a very long walking tour around Central Park on a Saturday. The park was very busy with people. When I got to the Great Lawn, it was full of happy people. Some sunbathing and some pick nicking. It is a very large green area..

Was a nice place, watching kids play baseball in central park, what a memory ! From wiki " The Great Lawn is mainly a recreational field, surrounded by an oval walkway.[1] There are eight baseball fields on the Great Lawn (six within the oval walkway and two directly to the north),[7][8][9] as well as a soccer field and four basketball courts.[9]"

The Great Lawn at Central Park is a beautiful open space, perfect to enjoy the scenery and colour of the blooming spring flowers. There is plenty of room to play sports with some friends or go for a walk around the edges while enjoying some fresh air. During spring, the areas surrounding the Great Lawn contain cherry blossoms which attract crowds and add a burst of natural colour to the city.

The Great Lawn in Central Park is such a beautiful spot for a walk, a picnic, or just relaxing. They even have concerts there, football games, guided tours — there’s always something going on. I love sitting on a bench, looking at the Manhattan skyline, watching people go by, and enjoying the greenery around me. It’s the perfect place to take a break, breathe in some fresh air, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere in the middle of the city
