  Just finished playing in Senior Softball World Championship tournament here. The consensus is that the fields are not championship caliber. In particular, the vegetation / clay line along the foul lines should be trimmed so it precisely follows the foul fair line. While its nice to play on grass in the desert, this wasn't grass as much as weeds, which made for irregular bounces. There were patches of basically sand in center field. The infields were never dragged; at our home fields in MN, the city crew comes out and drags the fields when we finish every day.
