Clean and nice area. Big field. Love the events there. Great place to take the kids to run around and have fun on the playground.

We went here to play in a Perfect Game tournament. Fields were nice, park was nice. But it was the little things that got me. Soap in the bathroom was dishwasher detergent. Only one sink would work. Cash only in the concession and they didn’t have a change “bank”. So exact change if they didn’t have what you needed to break a $20 or $10 to purchase a drink. They had lemonades, which was neat, but $5 each. The kicker was the perfect game tournament director coming up to our coach in the middle of a game as our coach was handing a ball back to the ump and told him he saw him put another one of the returned foul balls in his ball bucket. This was probably the most low class accusation I’ve witnessed. Our coach, who is not hurting for equipment, politely told him, only his own balls were in the bucket and we had been giving them all back to the umpires. The director would not let it go. It was uncomfortable to watch. He then went on to say that on this championship Sunday, he only brought 12 balls for the whole day!! The umpires on Saturday could have care less about being there. Probably the worst I’ve ever seen making calls. And they even said they just wanted to get off the field. (We won, so I’m not jaded). The other team balked at least 20 times and it was never called. On Sunday, a new umpire started calling balks that didn’t exist. We felt like we were in the twilight zone. We usually don’t play perfect game, and this reminded us of why.

The fields are pretty nice. However they are nice enough to charge each person that enters. If anything the cost should be incorporated in the registration fee. I also think it is a BIG inconvenience to only take cash. In addition, the bathrooms should have warm running water. It would also be great to spray the baseball fields in between games since the boys are wearing cleats in addition to getting cut up on the rocks/hard dirt when they slide.
