Went here for the 4th of July festivities. Like most ballparks, food is definitely gonna be expensive for the portions so you already know what to expect. And they are card only so don’t come with a handful of cash. Every seat in the house is a good seat. The fireworks were like front and center which was great.

This is a great ballpark. Lots of different food options beyond the typical ballpark fare of hotdogs and peanuts. I got a really good gyro and side-salad. There are several craft beer stands and places offering craft cocktails. The ballpark has a large kids play area and an active and friendly mascot. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is a great experience! We sat right behind home plate for $13/apiece. None of the Cubs’ top prospects currently play for the Grasshoppers. However, the opponent had 5 players who are projected to be in the major leagues either next year or 2024, where people will need to pay a lot more to watch them in good seats. The stadium is nice and modern, but it still has a classic feel with its brick arches. I like the convenient visitors’ shop, which was still open late after the game ended. I also like how the stadium is on a downtown city block with apartments just past the fence in the fashion of Wrigley Field. If the stadium got some ivy, and the apartments got some bleachers, it would be like a modern replica (with newer apartments and a newer stadium). The game experience is great. They have a lot of original touches. One of my favorites is a dog who retrieves bats during two of the innings. He seems so happy and excited, and the first time he retrieved a bat, he ran around the baseball diamond for a little bit while the crowd cheered. The fireworks were also a great touch. I don’t especially like the really loud and bright ones they do towards the end. If anyone in your party has sensory sensitivities, I would recommend that they bring ear plugs and/or sun glasses for the firework finale (or just shut their eyes). We parked at Grace United Methodist Church. It was less than a block away, parking was $4 (for a good cause), and after the game we exited directly onto East Friendly Avenue and without needing to wait for many cars. I honestly wouldn’t mind paying them a few extra dollars for the convenience. Here are some tips for seating: 1. The 3rd base side of the stadium gets shade sooner in the evening than the 1st base side. So one factor is whether you want more sun or more shade. 2. A handful of kids who sat near the tunnel and closer to the field behind the Grasshopper’s dugout got game bats. That could be a good place to sit with a young baseball fan. 3. There is a grassy hill at the end of the 1st base side, and a bit of young kids ran (or rolled) up and down it during the game. That’s a decent seating area for parents of kids with high energy and a low level of attention and/or interest in the game.

Excellent ball park in the middle of the city. The entire park is absolutely beautiful. Very kid friendly. Well stocked souvenir store. Lots of drink and food vendors. One of the best fireworks shows I've witnessed.
