Edit: I visited again in December and the trail was very clean, well-maintained, mowed (yes we're still mowing in Missouri), and of course had fewer bugs. I'm so thankful we have the Greenways nearby and all the beautiful green space, not to mention the parks off the Greenway, the benches, restrooms, trash cans, and sports fields. Needed mowing. Lots of mosquitoes. Kept expecting to see snakes but never did. Nice play area but not with the grass so high!

I wish I'd gotten to play ball on this field! I love the old stone restroom building, the ivy growing along the fence in places, and all the trees surrounding the field. This is a great place to chill, even if there's no game to watch!

I grew up playing baseball here. I remember the team that kept the park up to good condition. Every time I go I pick up trash and walk the puppers and look at the big tree towerds center field that in a since looks like the tree from the lion king on early morning sunrise or sunset. I wouldn't mind seeing a group of people get together to get the bases back up to par and getting out the soccer goals in the fall. STL ballers is what I thought I saw on the van when I talked to the guys that ran the field years ago. The park is a milestone for the history it's had threw all types of community events.

Would be 5 stars but they haven't really been taking care of the park to well past couple years grew up here. Played ball here and had some great memories that will last a life time.
