Excellent playground with lots of sand for digging, building, and imagination. The wading pool ranges from 13-16 inches deep. Some shade around the fields. Restrooms in the rec center.

Such a great place to bring kids. I am always impressed at how clean this park is no matter what time of day you go to it. There are spaces available for people of all ages to play. We continually find ourselves going back to this park.

I haven't lived in the city for 40 years, but have children we brought to Minneapolis parks to play soccer- including the he field at Pershing. Had my granddaughter there as they live close. She loves it there.

I like that it has 2 different playgrounds. One for younger kids and the other for elementary age kids. My little ones love this park. Oh and it also has a rec center, my boys like it in there. Im not sure as i never went in lol. But I'll go by there word until i see it myself!
