We went to Louisville Slugger Field specifically for The Gravy Cup, and honestly, it ended up being such a unique and memorable experience. I had no idea this was even a thing until it popped up on a random app highlighting cool and unusual events, and it was actually the reason we decided to visit Louisville in the first place — and I’m glad we did. The event itself was very well organized, and you could tell the gravy chefs took it seriously (their trophies proudly displayed at each station made that very clear). Even as someone who isn’t a huge biscuits and gravy person, I was impressed by the variety. There were so many creative options — everything from hot honey gravy to gumbo-inspired variations — which made it fun to walk around and try different styles. I’ll admit, being that this was Kentucky, I half expected to see chocolate gravy (my personal favorite), but the range of flavors they offered more than made up for it. It felt less like a typical food event and more like a full experience. Slugger Field itself was a great venue for it. The stadium was clean, easy to navigate, and had a fun atmosphere with a live band, cocktails (yes, even early in the morning), event merch, and the souvenir shops open for browsing. It was just genuinely cool getting to explore the stadium in such a different way. One of the best parts is that all proceeds from The Gravy Cup benefit the children at Boys & Girls Haven, which makes the event even more meaningful. Overall, it was fun, unique, well-run, and definitely something you can say you’ve experienced — the world’s largest biscuit and gravy festival is not a sentence I expected to use, but here we are.

Took a large group from work and our families. We had a blast and made some great memories. There is really not a bad seat in this place. Lots of great vendors with some great food. Clean facilities and inside area had good air circulation with the right temperature.

First time I've been there. Very exciting and HUGE. Went to the restaurant inside stadium to eat and it was delicious. Went to the shopping store where they had the baseball shirts, caps, jackets etc, nicely displayed.

We stopped at the LSF while on a little bourbon trip. What a great place! If you like baseball, this is a must see. We got to take a tour of the bat-making facility, as well as learning about the players who used their bats. They had a couple of exhibits where you could swing a bat used by the greats, Stargell, Clemente, and Ruth. As well as inside the museum, they have home plates lining the street that you can check out.
