We absolutely love walking around the basin at Techny! Amazing place. You won’t believe this is in northbrook!! The trail around the basin is .7 miles. Great place to spend some quiet time!

Pride of ownership and enjoyment in the Northbrook community. Huge, well taken care of park with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. You can run, hike, play soccer, softball, enjoy playgrounds with kids, skate park, baseball fields, go fishing and more! It’s a must visit place if you consider moving to this community or already living nearby. Techny Prairie Activity Center and brand new townhomes are next to Techny park. Great place to call home and come often.

Nice use of available space and overall great design, except for the western end where the important connecting street along the railroad track to downtown Northbrook is inexplicably blocked off and under mysterious construction that never seems to end. Needs to be opened up now.

beautiful exercise area where you can see birds wildlife + prairie. easily accessible 7 mile walk around the basin. conveniently close to the golf course and exercise center.
