I Loved being on the Red Sox for Canaryville's Little League in 2024! The Opening Day Parade is so much fun and a great way for all of our neighbors to see our teams! Canaryville residents pack the streets along our parade route to show their support. Canaryville sets a high standard and it is sad that not many neighborhoods have that type of neighborhood spirit towards their Little Leagues. Our Little League really brings our Canaryville Community together every season! Our uniforms are very professional, comfortable and easy to clean. The field is amazing, very clean, with multiple comfortable seating areas that surround the field, including stadium seating in and out of the sun. Our Little League Park even has a great food stand (if anyone even got food poisoning like a previous poster alleged, I am 100% positive it was due to their own negligence and not the fault of the actual food stand or the volunteer workers! PS the stand doesn't even serve Taco salads or "salad tacos," just saying. Please see menu photo posted below!) Our Little League park was even on an episode of CPD! This park helps our neighborhood youth in such an amazing way, by instilling so many positive qualities in us kids, and we have fun too! I wish every area had a Little League Park WITH the amazing neighbors, teammates, staff & volunteers like Canaryville has! My mom's family has been a part of Canaryville since the late 1800's (my great grandfather's brother's name (Conners) is even listed on the wall that honors the Canaryville neighborhood's fallen soldiers on Boyce's WWI Memorial.) Canaryville is Home for me, my mom, my stepdad and multiple previous generations! Many of my relatives have also been on the Little League here. This Little League promotes pride in our neighborhood that then fosters lifelong friendships and close knit neighbors. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! I am excited for this next season and cannot wait to register and start playing ball in 2025! CANARYVILLE LITTLE LEAGUE IS WICKED FUN!!! Denny Schumpp with mom Cheri Conners & stepdad Joey Leato Canaryville Irish Pride PS The bathrooms are maintained remarkably well during the season when we literally have hundreds of people there every weekend! Just fyi since someone posted they were not, smh.

What a gem. I think it is the best little league park in Chicago. It looks like a big league park just scaled down to 12 year olds. It has to be seen to be believed. I remember when I first saw this park 15 years ago there was gang graffiti evident everywhere, rocks in the field, it looked like Brooklyn before gentrification. The community along with John Kozlar committed many thousands of dollars and a huge amount of volunteer work to make it the pride of the city.
