Due to active participation in multiple sports leagues/teams, my family has developed far more experience with sports complex's than we ever would have hoped too. With that said, the Benedict Sports Complex is one of my favorite locations in Tempe. Only introduced to this location because another field had been the subject of vandalism (and some of our soccer practices were relocated here), I've noticed that this location is a well-lit [it has a total of 19 flood lights (along with multiple regular 'street lights)], decent sized [with the possibility of 4 full size soccer fields or baseball diamonds - with a bonus baseball diamond in the"back" northwest corner] complex that is fenced for security, and in a good location within Tempe. Along with ample parking (better than most fields I've visited in Phoenix) and good facilities (baseball seating for spectators, easily accessible bathrooms and water fountains, and pavement for anyone who needs the accessibility support); this location is one of Tempe's finest (if only they'd put turf on the fields for field quality, this would be one of Arizona's best complex's as well)!

During a soccer game during broad day light. My car was broke into. The window that was smashed was our rear passenger window. Visible can see two kid car seats in the backseat and nothing worth stealing.

My soccer league plays here often. Fields are usually in ok shape but took a star off because sometimes they're a little beat up. Still a pretty solid complex tho with good lighting for play at night, plenty of parking and on-site bathrooms.
