At this local park, we really walked around the lake in well maintained trail for both walk, bike and even skating. It’s about 3miles long and filled with beautiful lake views. This time of the year (early March), we can already see lots geese, ducks and other water birds “dating” all over the lake and lawns. When flowers bloom, plants grow leaves, it will be even pretty. It is of cause a nice place enjoy the nature with families and friends. Dog friendly. We saw boats launching places, seating steps for watching water front shows, found people fishing, picnics. We hear pickle ball playing…. The Seattle Public Theatre is beside the water too. Actually, we were attracted to here by its name of “Bath house” Theatre-was a bath house for swimmers now a theatre seating 176. Later March/early April, around the theatre, there will be cherry blossoms! Live this place.

Green Lake Park is my favorite park. I discovered it during an Autumn Equinox event, and I’ve loved it ever since. The community here is very active and regularly organizes wonderful events and family-friendly activities for both adults and children. The Lantern Parade is truly spectacular and absolutely worth experiencing. The park itself is stunning—beautiful scenery, a peaceful lake, and majestic trees that create an incredible sense of calm and positive energy. I’ve even meditated beneath the trees, and it’s such a grounding place to slow down. You can walk around the lake, sit on a bench, or simply relax with a book under the trees, especially with a delicious hot chocolate. Parking is available, with additional options nearby. You’ll also spot plenty of squirrels coming down from the trees, which adds to the charm. A must-visit in every season.

It's where the people are in the winter. Great place to lgo for a walk and to look at nature. Get out in nature more. If your lucky You will see John Andrew Franklin playing violin, ukulele and singing.

It is one of the best places in Seattle to go for a walk, jog, to play outdoor games (basketball, tennis, pickle ball), swimming or just to relax. The walkway around the lake is well maintained. There are green areas all around and a community center for boating, canoeing and rowing.
