My wife and I went for the "Light Up The Park" event they have going on which was really cool. We got to walk the warning track, go into the Astros bullpen, walk the bases, and go into the visiting team's dugout. I felt like a little kid out there. If you love the Astros as much as we do, it's a worthwhile experience. They also have a lot of friendly staff offering to take your pictures.

Great atmosphere. Relatively clean. Employees there are nice and helpful, if needed. Only thing is...everything is EXTREMELY expensive. $14 for a single 12oz bottle of beer. I know it's expected to be expensive due to the bills for the place, but come on. There should be some "budget items" for people who want to enjoy the games and have a little food and/or non-alcoholic drinks.

Action unending. Astros hitting it up, fireworks show every Friday. Unending taste for munchies or a sit down polished restaurant. A new Whataburger. Any type of beverage dreamtof.

I attended the concert at Daikin Park on February 14, 2026, with approximately 40,000 other fans, and what should have been an enjoyable evening turned into a frightening and frustrating experience due to gross mismanagement by the venue and event organizers. The problems started outside before the show even began. It was pouring rain heavily, yet only two entrances were open to handle the massive crowd. This created an extremely dangerous bottleneck. People were soaked, cold, and increasingly desperate to get inside. The pushing and shoving became intense—almost a crowd crush situation—and I am genuinely surprised (and grateful) that no one was seriously injured or worse. Security presence was woefully inadequate; there was little crowd control, no clear direction, and no apparent effort to open additional entrances or manage the line effectively. Many of us missed the first hour (or more) of the performance simply trying to enter the stadium. Once inside, conditions were equally appalling. On the 400 level, the restrooms were completely non-functional due to what staff said was a water pressure issue—yet they remained open. Sewage and urine overflowed onto the floors, creating unsanitary, hazardous, and revolting conditions. The smell was overwhelming, and it posed a clear health risk. How was this allowed to continue? Where was proper maintenance, emergency plumbing response, or even basic closure of those facilities? This is unacceptable in any public venue, let alone one hosting tens of thousands of people. I question why city code enforcement, the fire department, or other oversight agencies weren't more involved when such obvious safety and sanitation violations were occurring. In heavy rain with a huge crowd, poor planning turned a manageable situation into a potential catastrophe. The concert should have been delayed, additional entrances opened immediately, or—in extreme circumstances—cancelled or postponed to prioritize safety. Daikin Park (and whoever managed this event) failed spectacularly in basic crowd management, emergency preparedness, and facility maintenance. I've been to many large venues and concerts, but this was one of the worst-organized events I've ever experienced. The artists deserved better, and so did the fans who paid good money and braved terrible weather. I hope this feedback leads to real changes so no one else has to endure this. Zero stars if possible—strongly do not recommend until these issues are addressed.
