I went here 1 evening to walk. Beautiful park; clean, great open space. Looks like ii was a very nice place to hang out and play basketball and other sports prior to COVID-19. But still a very good place to get some walking 🚶‍♂️ or running 🏃‍♂️ laps in. Looks safe enough to walk alone if you don't have a partner. There's plenty of people around walking and enjoying the park. Very convenient location. Not a lot of traffic. Next time I'm in Desoto it's where I will be getting my walk laps in.

I visit this park quite often. I use to like it more a few years ago before a lot of people started going. Now its overcrowded at times. Too many people walking the trail at once and they dont have etiquette to remain on the right side(to not block the entire walk) The football teams have practice there or games and the parents literally put their chairs on the side walk blocking the walk trail. the upkeep is good... Grass always cut and not lots of trash on the ground. Basketball courts too full now. The playground isn't too safe, my child fell on the stairs of the playground and had a huge knot because there wasnt padding on the edge of the steps, it was broken and sharp. Luckily a knot was all and no other serious injury but my little one doesnt play there anymore.

I walk here weekly, the area is clean, neatly kept and police presence is wonderful, lots of people walk here all the time.

Good tournament although the wind chill was somewhat a factor. I loved the loaded French fries with brisket...very delicious!
