Went to see the little people wrestling event. That was incredible wrestling there must have been about 1500 or more people. The energy was ramped up so high the crowd went wild. They had a food truck with the best wings and fries in town. But the soda shop truck had shakes, sodas and eggcreams made as you watch. Now that was a fun evening. HELL YEAH!!!

Unique place. Two full sized fields for soccer. Some baseball diamonds too. Turf in good condition. Indoor bathrooms. There is also a dome down the hill. The fields are in the old prison yard. So when you drive here - just drive to the old guard towers. There are cool old brick buildings from the prison right next to the fields. It always seems windy to me - so it might be a bit colder. No bleachers. Bring your chair unless you don’t mind standing. Lots of people brought their dogs. Many soccer places don’t allow - but this one does.

I can’t say enough nice things about the Hudson Sports complex! Everyone was super friendly & very accommodating. Chris helped us book the venue last minute for our annual cornhole tournament which would have otherwise been rained out & it worked out perfectly. He checked in with us periodically throughout the day & made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you & we would definitely recommend using this facility.

The Hudson Sports Complex, located on 122 State School Road in the town Warwick, N.Y. has an eclectic history that goes back some eight decades. The facilities were converted to an all-male medium security prison in 1976, when it was renamed the Mid-Orange Correctional Facility. The first inmates arrived there on June 29, 1977. The facility held as many as 1,000 adult males in 1989, but the typical population number around 750 inmates. It remained in that capacity until June 2011, when New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced that the facility would be closed along with six other state prisons. Cuomo wanted to consolidate the correctional facilities based on declining inmate population.
