Yankee stadium is decent but does not rank up there with other MLB stadium. I have been all over the country for baseball and have been to more than half of the MLB stadiums. The stadium is heavy on the history of the yankees which it should because they have a long and storied history. There is a metro north stop for the stadium and this is by far your best bet for getting there. The walk from the station to the stadium isn't bad and there are vendors who sell water etc. And you can bring a sealed bottle of water into the stadium. As far as getting in they have the new metal detectors where you get to walk through without stopping and that expedites the lines.. The concourses are gray and dull but the concessions are pretty good, EXPENSIVE but good and with varied options. The majority of the seats are good, if you sit on the wall it's a little high near the corners and the view is a little obstructed. The staff is excellent and safety inside the stadium is not an issue (outside is another story). There is a hard rock cafe in the first floor which is great for before and after the games. The fans are great and I have been there wearing the jersey of an opposing team and besides a little good natures ribbing the fans were all great. The stadium lacks the amenities that most newly built stadiums have but all in all it's decent. If you go you will have a. Good time and the baseball is usually very good just stadium wise it could be better. The stadium is also the temporary home to the NYCFC and those games are awesome. They also host college football from time to time and the savannah banannas !

Watching a baseball game here with thousands of fans cheering together creates an unforgettable atmosphere. The energy of the crowd, the sound of the cheers, and the excitement during the game make the experience truly unique. Another great thing about Yankee Stadium is the variety of food and drink options available. Visitors can find many different snacks, meals, and beverages while enjoying the game. There are also souvenir shops where fans can buy official New York Yankees merchandise. The stadium is also very clean and well maintained. The walkways are wide and easy to navigate, and there are many signs that help visitors find their seats, restrooms, and food areas without confusion. Even if you are not a big baseball fan, visiting Yankee Stadium is still a great experience because of the history and atmosphere of the place. It was a really unique experience seeing Yankee Stadium for the first time. I must admit, however, that the area around it is FAR behind the times. Trying to be nice about it, but the best example I can give is to check out "The Battery" around the Atlanta Braves stadium, then look at NY and you'll understand. A difference of confident fun vs relative scary safety
