  This field is currently closed for renovations until Summer of next year, but before it was shut down I used to go over there to play softball with a group that I go to play with. The location is nice, it’s good that you can play ball with views of Harlem, Midtown and Lower Manhattan and New Jersey to the south. The field however was a bit rough, some of the turf was tearing off, the bases weren’t secured to the field and felt like someone could easily come in and steal them (no pun intended), and overall felt like it wasn’t maintained very well. I hope that the renovations being done can fix these issues.

  Great field, absolutely love it. Occasional softball games here take up the field, but is usually free for everyone to play at. I love playing at night, the bright lights make the ball super visible and is a great experience. For a softball game, good dimensions except center field is far, and for baseball the opposite. I hope y’all like it!

  It is a very nice park but people come to cause problems with the children from here in the area.
